Minneapolis, March 8, 2007— KC Associates, LLC, the only Twin Cities marketing services and public relations agency exclusively for B2B information technology (IT) companies, today announced that Tom Pick has joined the group as a marketing executive. He is responsible for helping clients grow revenues using integrated marketing programs and for expanding the group’s portfolio of web marketing services.
Pick has more than 15 years of experience in traditional marketing and web marketing in the IT industry. Prior to joining KC Associates (KCA), Pick was director of corporate communications at reinsurance intermediary Collins Associates, where he developed and implemented an integrated marketing strategy that included web marketing, sales collateral, PR and event marketing programs. Before joining Collins, Pick spent nine years with the manufacturing software company SoftBrands (formerly Fourth Shift), managing competitive and market intelligence, analyst relations, PR, and web marketing. He began his career with Printware, a pioneer in digital prepress technology.
Pick’s work in online and interactive marketing and blogging has earned national recognition, including Summit Marketing Effectiveness and Yahoo! Big Idea Chair awards. He has written extensively on web marketing and social networking topics for online and print publications such as MarketingSherpa and Practical eCommerce magazine.
