Becky Gauerke is a marketing & PR executive with nearly 20 years’ experience in the IT industry.
Formerly, Gauerke spent nine years as the national marketing director for BORN, a national IT consulting firm headquartered in Minneapolis (and later acquired by Fujitsu Consulting). While there, she was responsible for developing the firm's go-to-market plan, managing outside agencies and a staff of 10, and overseeing the execution of marketing programs, advertising, PR, corporate communications, and internal communications. She also was a member of the executive management team, served as BORN’s primary spokesperson and drove the development of the firm’s brand.
Prior to BORN, Gauerke was a senior account executive at the Minneapolis-based PR agency Tunheim Partners (formerly Tunheim Santrizos). As one of its early employees, she helped grow it into one of the top three PR firms in the region. While there, Gauerke developed and executed marketing communications programs, PR, and internal communications programs for Honeywell, Jostens, Andersen Windows and other clients. She also assisted in positioning and branding, secured media coverage, created marketing collateral and managed special events.
Gauerke has developed and managed marketing and PR programs for more than 20 KCA clients, including Accenture, SmeadSoft, Shred-it and Demand Chain Systems.
Gauerke has been working with KCA since 2004 and holds a bachelor’s degree in mass communication from Winona State University.
