Dianne Kearns is an events and lead generation manager with 30 years’ experience in the IT industry.
Formerly, Kearns worked for Open Systems, first as a communications specialist,
then as its marketing director. In that role, she was responsible fo launching
a major new product, which earned Kearns the coveted 1995 Minnesota Software
Association’s Marcom award.
Previous to Open Systems, Kearns was Lawson Software’s first marketing
professional, responsible for its multiplatform mid-range and mainframe
product lines. She launched major lead generation programs using direct
mail, seminars, trade shows, and advertising and was responsible for overseeing
the implementation of the company’s first lead tracking and pipeline
management systems. Kearns also worked as a recruiter and marketing manager
for Stearns Computer, a PC startup firm, and as the global trade show coordinator
for CPT, a word processing software company.
Kearns has worked with more than 50 KCA clients in her dual roles of events and lead generation manager. She has managed trade shows, user conferences, seminars, and other events for clients that include Apex IT, International Decision Systems, O’Pin Systems, and XATA. Kearns also manages KCA’s telemarketing team, which has built customer databases and followed up on lead generation campaigns for BORN, MotivAction, Jumpnode, MessageLabs, MHC Software and Smead.
Kearns joined KCA in 1999.
