George Dixon is a writer with more than 25 years’ experience in content development for IT products and services.
As a writer, Dixon has completed thousands of copywriting projects for nearly all of KCA’s 150+ clients, which include among the largest IT companies in the Twin Cities, plus dozens of startup, small and mid-size firms. His copy gets attention fast, focuses on key corporate or product messaging, and serves as an essential tool in generating industry visibility and shortening sales cycles.
A former journalist and magazine editor, Dixon researches and writes copy for brochures, white papers, research reports, bylined articles, user stories, product sheets and websites.
Dixon began his career as editor of Minnesota Monthly magazine, an award-winning regional general interest publication. Later, he co-founded Gelbach, Dixon, Lee, a marketing communications firm that did work for numerous Fortune 500 companies.
Dixon has won numerous business writing awards and is the author of several books, including The Total Quality Handbook and What Works at Work (both Lakewood Publications), Shogun Management (Harper Business) and Inside Teams (Addison Wesley).
Dixon holds a bachelor’s degree in
English from Macalester College and has studied at Oxford University in the
United Kingdom.
