Lis Grant is a PR manager with more than 15 years’ experience in the IT industry.
Prior to becoming an IT media relations consultant, Grant was in charge of corporate communications for Solonis, a Twin Cities IT services firm, where she was responsible for developing and executing public relations programs and general marketing communications projects, as well as managing internal communications.
In 1993, Grant joined Fourth Shift (now SoftBrands), first in sales support, then quickly moving into marketing/lead generation program execution. In the final years of her eight-year tenure, she reported to the COO as the company’s corporate communications manager, responsible for media and industry analyst outreach as well as overseeing internal and external communications. Under her management, editorial coverage increased by 300%.
In addition to public relations, corporate communications and analyst relations, Grant is experienced at overseeing trade shows and live/online seminars, managing website content and working on lead generation projects to support sales objectives.
Grant has been working with KCA since 2006 and holds a bachelor’s degree from American University in Washington, D.C., and also concluded coursework at the University of London's College of Science and Technology.
