Steve Conway.

Steve Conway is a corporate communications executive with nearly 30 years’ experience in the IT industry.

Since 2003, Conway has overseen strategic PR efforts for a number of KCA clients, including AsystMe and International Decision Systems, as well as publicly traded companies Xata and Digitiliti.

Conway has extensive experience in corporate communications, industry analyst and media relations, marketing and internal communications, and investor relations, as well as business combinations and issues management for a variety of companies—from development-stage to multibillion-dollar firms.

After holding senior technology roles with worldwide PR firm Shandwick, Conway headed corporate communications at global firms Cray Research, CompuServe Corporation and the reborn Cray, Inc., where he also led investor relations.

As a consultant since 1998, Conway has served technology clients, including Jasc Software, Imation, MTS Systems in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area; companies elsewhere in the U.S., that include AOL, Cable & Wireless USA, Cray, Howrey & Simon, IDC, Silicon Graphics and Sun Microsystems; as well as organizations outside the U.S., such as Quadrics-UK, and DBS Bank-Singapore. In November 2002, he planned and led the global rollout of the Cray X1™ supercomputer product.

Conway serves on the advisory boards of several Minneapolis/St. Paul-based technology firms. A former Senior Fulbright Fellow, he holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in German literature from Columbia University, as well as a master’s degree in comparative literature from Brandeis University.
